On Saturday evening in the English "Premier" league, the eighth match of the English "Premier" league's second round took place.
At the "King Power" stadium, the champions of the previous season "Leicester City" faced off against the vice-champions, London's "Arsenal." After a tough match, neither team managed to achieve a victory and the game ended in a goalless draw.
The first half was quite dull. Neither team had any significant chances to score. The "Gunners" had more possession of the ball, but it did not bring much advantage to Arsene Wenger's team.
The second half started in a similar way, but as it progressed, both teams stepped up and the game turned into an intense battle. Although many chances were not created, the football was very fast-paced and counter-attacking.
Approaching the end of the match, both Leicester and North London teams had good opportunities to score. Substitute Ahmed Musa appeared in the penalty area and almost earned a penalty in just a few minutes, but Mark Clattenburg decided not to award a penalty against the African player.
Both clubs earned their first points in this English competition. In the first round, "Leicester City" lost to "Hull City," while "Arsenal" had to acknowledge "Liverpool's" advantage after a lively battle.
