It is no secret that the "Tottenham" club, along with A. Conte at the helm, would like to bring back Christian Eriksen to their lineup next summer, but the "Spurs" will face competition from other clubs. Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that "Tottenham" and "Leicester City" are seriously competing for C. Eriksen's signature. Both clubs are heavily interested and are currently the main favorites to sign the Dane. However, in the case of "Tottenham," a lot will depend on whether they manage to reach the Champions League, adds Sean Walsh. "Leicester City" already has two Danes in their squad: Jannik Vestergaard and Kasper Schmeichel, while "Tottenham" was Eriksen's former club. Despite leaving Spurs ungracefully at the end of his spell in London, the Dane still has friends in the Tottenham squad. Antonio Conte coached Eriksen during the successful season at "Inter."
