"Leicester City" snatched a point against "West Ham" in dramatic match without J. Vardy (VIDEO)

On Sunday, three matches of the 34th round were played in the English Premier League. The leading team in the championship, Leicester City, played dramatic matches against West Ham United, leading until the 84th minute, then conceding two goals, but in the fifth minute of added time equalized and secured their 73rd point of the season.

Playing at home, the "Foxes" played a 2-2 draw with West Ham United in a tough match, with the most talk around Jamie Vardy's performance. In the 18th minute of the match after a quick counterattack, Vardy received a great pass from Ngolo Kante, burst into the penalty area, outsmarted the visiting goalkeeper Adrian, and put the hosts ahead.

However, in the second half Vardy did not shine as he would have wanted. In the 56th minute of the match, he fell in the opponent's penalty area, and referee Jonathan Moss deemed his action as a dive and gave the forward a yellow card. Since Vardy had already been cautioned in the first half, it meant that he was also shown a red card, and for the remaining half-hour, Leicester's players had to play with one less man on the field.

Nevertheless, all the main events took place at the end of the match. Leicester's team managed to hold on until the 84th minute when Wes Morgan's foul led to an eleven-meter penalty, successfully converted by Andy Carroll. Just two minutes later, Aaron Cresswell scored a great shot to put West Ham United ahead, and it seemed like the hosts would end up pointless. However, this was not the last note of the match - in the final minute of added time, a penalty was awarded to the visitors, which Leonardo Ulloa successfully converted, securing a crucial point for his team.

After these draws, Leicester City leads the standings with an eight-point advantage over the second-placed Tottenham Hotspur. However, the rivals have played one match less.

In the other Sunday matches, Liverpool defeated Bournemouth 2-1 away and climbed to the seventh position in the table. The victory for Liverpool was sealed by goals from Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge at the end of the first half. The hosts scored a consolation goal at the end of the match, with Joshua King finding the net.

In the last evening match, Arsenal hosted Crystal Palace. Arsene Wenger's team failed to keep their lead and had to settle for a draw at the end of the match.
