"Leicester" dealt another blow to "Tottenham" team, "Man Utd" defeated "Watford" (VIDEO)

On Tuesday evening, four matches of the first 14th round were played in the English Premier League.

At the "Kings Power" stadium, Leicester City hosted Tottenham from London. Mauricio Pochettino's players did not get out of the rut - the "Foxes" won 2-1, defeating the Spurs team, who remained winless for the third consecutive match.

In the 13th minute of the match, the first goal was scored - after a pass from Marco Albrighton, striker Jamie Vardy scored a great goal with one touch.

After conceding the goal, Tottenham had chances, but the Foxes were saved by the excellent performance of Kasper Schmeichel. At the end of the first half, Leicester fans were forced to stand up from their seats again - Riyad Mahrez, who had a brilliant run, increased the lead to two goals.

In the second half, Spurs tried to get back into the game and in the 79th minute Harry Kane "caught" Erik Lamela's gift, but Tottenham failed to equalize.

For Tottenham, this was the second failure in the last three matches. They are now trailing the leaders by a 14-point margin.

In another match, Manchester United outperformed Watford in a high-scoring game. Jose Mourinho's team defeated the Hornets 4-2.

Ashley Young led the Red Devils in the opening minutes of the match - in the 19th minute, the Englishman put the visitors ahead, and a few minutes later he increased the lead with a superb goal from a penalty kick.

In the 32nd minute, Anthony Martial scored the third goal. However, Watford did not intend to surrender and in the second half they brought back the intrigue.

In the 77th minute, Troy Deeney reduced the deficit from the penalty spot, and in the 84th minute, Abdoulaye Doucoure brought the intrigue back to the match. However, Manchester United was not ready to lose points and secured the victory two minutes later with Jesse Lingard's goal.

Manchester United, currently in second place, temporarily reduced the gap to the leaders to five points.

The remaining matches ended in draws between Brighton - Crystal Palace and West Brom - Newcastle.
