"Leicester" remembered the taste of victory, "Huddersfield" ended an impressive streak of failures.

On Tuesday evening, the first four matches of the 28th round took place in the English Premier League.

The team that fired their coach, Leicester, returned to the path of victories. The "Foxes" at home proved their advantage over Brighton with a score of 2:1.

Demarai Gray and Jamie Vardy's goals gave a two-goal lead, but in the middle of the second half, Brighton narrowed the gap and ruined the nerves of the Leicester fans until the final whistle.

In other matches, Liverpool's Everton defeated Cardiff. Two goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and one from Dominic Calvert-Lewin ended a series of three defeats.

The team Huddersfield, which had suffered 13 defeats in the last 14 matches, tasted victory again for the first time since November. Huddersfield dramatically defeated Wolves in regular time.

Steve Mounie scored the winning goal in the 91st minute.

For bottom-placed Huddersfield, this was only their third victory in the season.

Newcastle also played impressively at home. Fabiano Schar's goal and another by Sean Longstaff led the Magpies to a victory over Burnley.

For Burnley, this was their first loss since December 26.
