"Liverpool" received a negative response from "Leipzig" and Naby Keita's arrival in England will still have to wait until summer. Jurgen Klopp's team acquired N. Keita for 48 million pounds sterling last summer, but it was agreed in the deal that the African would stay in Germany for the season. However, "Liverpool" plans changed when they had to say goodbye to Philippe Coutinho. The "Reds" had hopes of reaching an agreement with "Leipzig" and strengthening their ranks with the midfielder in the winter for an additional fee, but the Germans did not engage in negotiations. "Leipzig" wrote on their official Twitter account that N. Keita is not going anywhere and the message is to put all speculations linking the player with a move to "Liverpool" to rest. N. Keita continues to demonstrate excellent performance in Germany this season - in 21 matches, the midfielder has scored six goals.
