The coach of the Spanish champions Barcelona, Luis Enrique, will postpone the decision about Lionel Messi's selection for as late as possible. It is expected that in Saturday's El Clasico duel, the leader of Barcelona will appear on the field for the first time after his injury.
L. Enrique has previously said that L. Messi should be able to appear on the field and most likely will, but the coach still does not know if he will let the Argentine play in the starting lineup.
We haven't seen L. Messi on the field since September, when the leader of Barcelona suffered a knee injury in the Primera match against Las Palmas.
"We still have one training session on Friday, so we will discuss the situation. We know he won't be a hundred percent ready to play, it's impossible, because Leo just returned from injury. Nevertheless, it's good to know that we will have him," said L. Enrique.
The leader of the Catalan club returned to team training just last week. L. Enrique stated that he will decide on the starting lineup just before the match - 11 starting players need to be announced an hour before.
