Playing at home, the representatives of the Bundesliga took the lead 1-0, but eventually the visitors managed to win 2-1.
After the match, Barcelona's head coach Luis Enrique said:
"In the first half of the match, we dominated the field and created several opportunities to score.
After the break, the number of chances decreased, but overall - our victory was well deserved.
"Borussia" played an unusual game and focused on defense. We had opportunities, but the opponents threatened us with counterattacks, which is the hallmark of the German club."
