The London "Arsenal" club, which has never spent money recklessly, is seriously aiming to sign the rising French football star Kylian Mbappe.
The French media reports that both Real Madrid and Arsenal are intensely competing for the 18-year-old Frenchman's signature. It is said that the UEFA Champions League winners Monaco have offered 130 million euros, but even this amount does not satisfy the Ligue 1 champions.
According to "L'Equipe", Arsenal is considering making an even higher offer for the football player. The same source claims that the "Gunners" are contemplating a 140 million euro bid for one of the most promising footballers on the planet.
It was recently revealed that Arsene Wenger will have 170 million euros to spend on new signings this summer, so even if they acquire K. Mbappe, the "Gunners" would still have around 30 million euros left.
It is hard to imagine Arsenal club competing at such high levels of spending, but the focused attention on acquiring K. Mbappe is at the highest level.
