It seems that the final point in Antoine Griezmann's story will soon be put. "L'Equipe" announces that "Barcelona" transferred 120 million euros to the "La Liga" account.
Earlier today, we wrote that "Barcelona" will ask for bank assistance to cover the expenses for A. Griezmann. It seems that the Catalans did not need these services and today the payment for the Frenchman was made.
A. Griezmann will now become independent of Madrid "Atletico" and will be able to sign a long-term contract with the Spanish champions without any hindrance.
It is believed that the deal will officially be completed on Friday morning, and A. Griezmann will present himself to his new club on Saturday.
The 28-year-old sniper has been defending the colors of "Atletico" since 2014. Over five years, he played 257 matches and scored 133 goals.
