During the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF), a decision was made regarding the national team's head coach Jevgenijus Ryvkinas, the results of the trial certification of youth football training institutions were presented, and a description of support for deserving football people was given.

During the meeting, the head coach of the national futsal team J. Ryvkinas presented his work with the national futsal team, with which he has been working since 2017. The team coached by the Ukrainian coach just experienced three losses at the recent FIFA Futsal World Cup and finished in 20th place. J. Ryvkin's contract was valid until the end of the championship, so the coach was thanked for his important contribution to the development of Lithuanian futsal and the performance in the championship, but the contract with the coach was not extended.

The results of the trial period certification of youth football training institutions were also presented to the members of the Executive Committee. After the presentation, a decision was made not to conduct an official evaluation during the trial process, but all organizations that participated in the certification process will receive feedback and all necessary assistance to better understand the certification process and improve. During the meeting, proposals for improving the certification document, process, and criteria were also accepted.

The members of the Executive Committee also approved the "Description of the Conditions and Procedures for Remunerating Coaches for Charity," which defined the possibility of providing financial support to coaches and/or individuals who have made lifelong contributions to Lithuanian football – thirty years of coaching, refereeing, football journalism, management activities.

The allocation of two full-size artificial turfs for the year 2022 was also approved. One turf is designated for the city of Šiauliai, while the other is for the Vievio city football stadium. The head coach of the national under-17 team, Rolandas Džiaukštas, presented the results of the team in the Baltic Cup and the qualification for the European Championship. It is worth mentioning that, due to COVID-19 cases in the Latvian national team, this team will have to play qualifying matches against the Latvian team. After these matches, the team's results and the coach's work will be evaluated.
