Yesterday, the quarterfinals of the Lithuanian Football Federation Cup were played. In five matches, victories were celebrated by the visiting "A-League" clubs, which advanced to the next stage. The only representative of the I League to achieve victory was Plungė's "Babrungas," who defeated "Vilnius." However, their victory was not enough, as the Vilnius team was ahead by two goals in the first match.
Three more matches will be played in the quarterfinals - today at 18:00 at home they will play against "Kauno Jėgeriai"; on June 5th at 17:00 "Kauno Jėgeriai" will host "Šilutė," and at 18:00 "Geležinis vilkas" will face "Žalgiris" in the second leg.

Draw for the quarterfinals
Today, the draw for the quarterfinals took place at the Lithuanian Football Federation. Despite not all quarterfinal matches being played, the draw determined the following pairs:
"Vilnius" - Winner of the pair Vilnius "Žalgiris" and Vilnius "Geležinis vilkas"
Panevėžys "Ekranas" - "Kaunas"
Klaipėda "Atlantas" - Marijampolės "Sūduva"
Winner of the pair "Šilutė" and "Kauno Jėgeriai" - Vilniaus "Vėtra"
The first quarterfinal matches will be played on June 23rd, and the second leg matches on June 30th.
