The Lithuanian Football Federation Cup saw two second leg and one first leg quarterfinal matches played. In a duel between the two strongest teams, the Lithuanian champion "Kaunas" emerged victorious after a dramatic battle in extra time against Panevėžys "Ekranas". In another match, goals poured down as "Žalgiris" once again defeated "Vilnius" and easily advanced to the semifinals. Meanwhile, in the postponed first leg matches, Klaipėda's "Atlantas" snatched a victory in the last minute against Marijampolė's "Sūduva".
