On Wednesday, five matches of the LFF Cup round of 16 took place in Lithuania.
In Klaipėda, "Atlantas" and Vilnius' "Žalgiris" met. Mareko Zubo's students secured victory and a ticket to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
The scorers in the winning team were Serge Nyuiadzi and Andrius Velička. Vaidotas Januška provided the assist for the Frenchman. The hosts scored at the end of the match, but couldn't avoid defeat.
Meanwhile, Panevėžys' "Ekranas" had to acknowledge the superiority of "Šiauliai" as guests. The only goal was scored by Arminas Vaskela.
Advancing to the next stage was also Pakruojis' "Kruoja", who won against Palanga's team with a score of 1-4. Tauragė's "Tauras" lost at home to Gargždai's "Banga" with a score of 0-2.
