At the meeting of the LFF Licensing Committee on February 18, the issue of issuing licenses for the LFF I, II, and Women's A leagues for the 2022 season was discussed.
Fourteen clubs and teams applied for licenses in the I league:
- Kėdainiai "Nevėžis"
- Kretinga "Minija"
- Vilnius "Baltijos futbolo akademija" (BFA)
- Klaipėda "Neptūnas"
- Plungė "Babrungas"
- Kaunas "Be1 NFA"
- Kaunas r. "Garliava"
- Vilnius "Žalgiris" B
- Kaunas "Kauno Žalgiris" B
- Panevėžys "Panevėžys" B
- Vilnius "Riteriai" B
- Gargždai "Banga" B
- Marijampolė "Sūduva" B
- Šiauliai "Šiauliai" B
Four clubs did not receive licenses in the I league due to various reasons.
Fifteen clubs and teams received licenses in the II league:
- Kybartai "Sveikata"
- Joniškio "Saned"
- Šilutė
- Vilnius "Ateitis"
- Tauragė "Tauras"
- Kaunas VJFM "Fortūna"
- Klaipėda FM
- Vilnius "TransINVEST" (former FK "Transekspedicija")
- Vilnius "Viltis"
- Kaunas "Hegelmann Litauen" B
- Jonava B
- Telšiai "Džiugas" B
- Alytus "Dainava" B
- Vilnius "Žalgiris" C
- Kaunas "Kauno Žalgiris" C
Two clubs did not receive licenses in the II league.
Seven clubs received licenses in the Women's A league:
- Šiauliai "Gintra"
- Vilnius MFA "Žalgiris"
- Gargždai "Banga"
- Vilnius
- Joniškio "Saned"
- Kaunas r. "Hegelmann"
- Kaunas "Kauno Žalgiris"
Clubs that did not receive licenses in the I and II leagues have the right to submit appeals, which will be reviewed by the LFF Appeals Licensing Committee on February 25.
