On Sunday evening, the Spanish national football team received unsettling news - Sergio Busquets tested positive for coronavirus. Immediately after this news, it was decided to isolate the team preparing for the European Championship, and foreign media started speculating that the Spanish U-21 team will play against Lithuania in the friendly match scheduled for Tuesday. However, the Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) announced on its Facebook page on Monday afternoon that a final decision regarding the match has not been made yet, and the situation will only become clear in the evening. This means that the Spaniards may still decide to play the friendly match against the Lithuanians. It is worth reminding that all other Spanish national team players and personnel tested negative for COVID-19.
