L.Figo: I don't think the Spanish national team is capable of triumphing in the World Cup again © EuroFootball.com

Legendary Portuguese Luis Figo does not believe that Spain's national team will defend their title in the upcoming World Cup.

Having played 127 matches wearing the Portuguese national team's jersey, the former footballer claims that Spain lacks quality, but he does not underestimate the possibilities of this team.

"I don't think Spain will win this World Cup," said L. Figo. "I don't think they have the quality to do it, but nothing is impossible."

However, the former Real Madrid defender is convinced that Brazil's national team has an excellent chance of triumphing in this tournament.

"I think Brazil will be helped by playing in their own country. I know the coach of this team very well and I believe they can go far. It will be difficult for other teams against Brazil," Figo concluded.

The World Cup in Brazil will kick off on June 12th.
