The Madrid newspaper "AS" reports that the head coach of the Spanish national team, Vicente Del Bosque, is expected to extend his contract in the near future.
As reported, after the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, the Spanish Football Federation will offer the strategist a new two-year contract.
62-year-old Del Bosque took over as the head coach of the national team in 2008. During this time, the Spaniard triumphed in the 2010 World Cup and the European Championship in the summer of 2012.
The former footballer has coached clubs such as Madrid's "Real" and Istanbul's "Besiktas" during his career.
