In the last round of matches of the Lithuanian Student Football League, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University students lost 0:3 to Vytautas Magnus University team. The latter increased the gap between the teams occupying prize and non-prize places.
VDU demonstrated their potential in these matches without playing a minute. An attack that started from the right side moved to the center of the field and Reinas Batutis scored from approximately 14 meters in the 57th second of the match.
The Vilnius team was sent into a sort of knockout, while their guests from Kaunas were closer to the second goal of the match until, finally, that goal was reached. Tautvydas Šiugždinis received the ball in the center of the field, escaped the opponents' defenders, and, facing the goalkeeper alone, sent the ball into the goal.
