On Sunday, two remaining matches of the 6th round of the French "Ligue 1" championship were played. The other eight matches were played on Saturday.
Finally, tragically starting the season, the "Marseille" club won their first victory in the championship. Considered a favorite before the start of the championship, the club managed to only get two points in the first 5 rounds, but in this round, they managed to win with a minimal result of 1-0 away against "Sochaux," earning three points for the first time this season. The only goal of the match was scored by Marseille's goalkeeper Wilson Oruma in the 66th minute.
In the other Sunday matches, the "Lens" and "Bordeaux" clubs faced each other. With a victory, "Lens" would have collected 13 points and moved up to 2nd place ahead of the "P.S.G" team, but the Lano team failed to defeat the visitors from Bordeaux, drawing 1-1.
