Like on wings, Belgians crushed Hungarians and advanced to the quarterfinals (PHOTO, VIDEO)

At 22:00, Belgium and Hungary national teams faced off in a match for a spot in the quarter-finals. Led by Eden Hazard, the Belgians had no difficulties and advanced to the next stage by defeating their opponents 4-0.

Throughout the game, the Hungarians actively played and tried to resist one of the tournament favorites, but the Belgians were ruthless at the end of the match and scored four goals in total.

In the quarter-finals, Belgium will face Wales. The match will take place on Friday at 22:00.

The Belgian players started the match more actively. In the 6th minute, Romelu Lukaku had the first serious opportunity near Gabor Kiraly's goal, but the experienced goalkeeper was in the right position.

After a few attacks, Kevin De Bruyne attempted a shot from about 18 meters but once again, G. Kiraly reliably protected the goal.

However, the Hungarian team could not avoid the first goal - in the 10th minute, after K. De Bruyne's cross, Toby Alderweireld, a central defender, scored with a header and Belgium took the lead.

In the 15th minute, there was another dangerous opportunity near the Hungarian goal. K. De Bruyne received an excellent pass and broke away from the defenders, forcing the goalkeeper to work seriously.

As the first half approached, the Hungarians intensified their attacks and in the 41st minute, their winger Balazs Dzsudzak took a shot from far away. However, Belgians still had the upper hand.

Belgium started the second half powerfully - Eden Hazard made a strong shot from the left side, but Kiraly continued to prove his worth.

In the 53rd minute, after a great pass from B. Dzsudzak, Adam Szalai had a good chance to equalize, but his shot was blocked by T. Alderweireld.

In the 65th minute, there was a serious danger near T. Courtois' goal - the ball flew in a tricky trajectory after Adam Pinter's shot, but the Chelsea goalkeeper reacted and pushed the ball out of bounds. Soon after, another dangerous shot was made by the Hungarian defender Roland Juhasz, but again luck was on Belgium's side.

In the 78th minute, the final point was put in this duel. After a wonderful run by E. Hazard, Michy Batshuayi, who had only been on the field for a few minutes, fulfilled his teammate's pass and scored the first goal of the tournament.

Just two minutes later, E. Hazard, who had been tormenting the opponents' defenders throughout the match, scored his own goal. Soon after, the Belgian captain was replaced and left the field to famous ovations.

At the end of the match, the final goal was scored against the Hungarian national team. After a counterattack, Yannick Carrasco aimed accurately and directed the ball into the goal, also scoring his first goal of the tournament.
