On Saturday night, the first match of the 20th round of the French championship took place. The teams "Lille" and "Saint-Etienne" competed against each other.
The first goal of the match was scored by the visitors coached by Christophe Galtier. They managed to do so already in the 17th minute after a great pass from Kevin Monnet-Paquet to Romain Hamouma.
After this episode, the hosts of the field were more active and eventually managed to equalize the result halfway through the second half. Nicolas De Preville scored a great goal from outside the penalty area.
The spectators gathered at the "Pierre-Mauroy" stadium did not see any more accurate shots and the match ended in a 1-1 draw. This means that "Saint-Etienne" remains in eighth place, but tomorrow they could fall to tenth place. Meanwhile, "Lille" continues in twelfth place.
