List of candidates announced for the Golden Ball

The publication "France Football" announced the list of candidates for this year's "Ballon d'Or" trophy.

Among the 30 contenders are shining soccer players from the European champions' national team: Rodri, Dani Olmo, Dani Carvajal, Nico Williams, and Lamine Yamal.

The prestigious prize can also be won by Jude Bellingham, Vinicius, Declan Rice, Emiliano Martinez, Erling Haaland, or Kylian Mbappe, who have all performed impressively with their respective national teams or clubs.

Interestingly, neither of the two eternal rivals—Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo—are among the contenders this time.

The winner of the award will be revealed on October 28 in Paris.
