List of FIFA Best Player of the Year candidates - without Neymar

FIFA continues its awards presentation - the biggest football community has revealed the surnames of 10 players who will compete for the title of the best footballer of the year. There is one surprise in the list - Brazil's football star Neymar is not included. The Brazilian was included in the best World Cup players top eleven, but FIFA experts were not convinced by his overall performance last season. The list includes three world champions - Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe, and Raphael Varane. The latter is the only defender among the contenders to receive this award. Among the candidates, we can also see other well-known names - Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Luka Modric, Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Mohamed Salah, and Harry Kane. Last year, this award went to former Real Madrid leader C. Ronaldo.
