n the latest FIFA world rankings, the Lithuanian national team has risen four positions to 111th place.

Our country's team gained 29 ranking points in the World Cup qualifying match against Slovakia and now sits next to our neighbor and rival Latvia, who is in 110th place.

The Greek national team, arriving in Lithuania in June, currently holds the 13th position in the rankings, while other Lithuanian opponents in this qualifying tournament are ranked lower: Bosnia and Herzegovina - 21st, Slovakia - 54th, and Liechtenstein - 147th.

Spain continues to top the world and European rankings, ahead of Germany and Argentina. Croatia has climbed to the fourth position in the rankings, surpassing five teams in just one month.

Fascinatingly, France occupies the 18th place, while Brazil is in 19th position.
