EURO 2016 tournament qualifiers are continuing in Europe. The Lithuanian national team clashed with San Marino in Group E and emerged victorious with a score of 2-0.
From the very beginning of the match, the Lithuanians took the initiative and in the 5th minute, after a precise pass from Mindaugas Kalonas, Deividas Matulevičius scored.
After the quick goal, the Lithuanian footballers did not relax and continued to press their opponents actively. Arvydas Novikovas secured the result in the 36th minute.
During the remaining time, the Lithuanians created many dangerous opportunities, but the final result remained 2-0 as Igoris Pankratjevas' wards secured the first victory in the qualifiers.
In other group matches, the England national team defeated Switzerland with a score of 2-0, and at the end of the match, Estonia overcame Slovenia.
