The Lithuanian youth (U-21) national team delivered an unpleasant surprise to their Ukrainian peers fighting for a ticket to the European Championship. Just a few days after crushing the Swedes at home with a score of 6-0, the Ukrainians on Monday had to admit defeat to the Lithuanians.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 3rd minute by team captain Tadas Eliošius. Our team maintained the lead despite playing the entire second half without the sidelined Karolis Jarmalavičius.
