Lithuanian clubs pass the first stage of the UEFA Cup

Recently, in the UEFA Cup first qualifying round second leg matches, both Lithuanian clubs won their games and advanced to the next round.

Vilnius club "Žalgiris" defeated Northern Irish club "Portadown" 2-0 at home. Goals were scored by Tomas Mikuckis and Vidas Kaušpadas.

In the other match, Panevėžys club "Ekranas" won 2-1 against Luxembourg club "Dudelange" away, with a total score of 3-1.
