The Lithuanian U19 national team concluded their performance in the elite stage of the UEFA European Championship qualifiers on Tuesday evening with a high note.
Reinhold Breu's players won the last match with a score of 2:0 (2:0) against their peers from France and finished the tournament with 3 points.
It is worth mentioning that before this, the Lithuanians lost to the strong teams of the Netherlands and Belgium, finishing fourth in the qualification group.
In Tuesday's match, Ernestas Gudelevičius scored goals against the French team in the 3rd and 6th minutes, respectively after passes from Matas Latvis and Regnaras Krotas. Jonas Usavičius and Ignas Paulikas also created good opportunities to score in this match. French attempts to score a goal were successfully neutralized several times by goalkeeper Arnas Voitinovičius.
