On Friday evening in Kaunas, the U19 national team tournament, featuring three teams, started.

In the first match, Reinhold Breu's team defeated their Estonian counterparts 2:1 (1:1). Two more matches are left in the tournament - on Sunday, Latvia will play against Estonia, and the final match, which will determine the trophy winner, will be played on Tuesday between Lithuania and Latvia.

In the Friday match, the Lithuanians scored first when Nojus Audinis redirected the ball into the net from close range after a set-piece. However, the Estonians quickly responded with a precise shot to equalize.

At the end of the first half, the Estonians were reduced to 10 men after one of their players received a straight red card for unsporting behavior, giving the Lithuanians a numerical advantage. However, they failed to capitalize on this before halftime, and the teams went to the break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Throughout the second half, the Lithuanians pressed the Estonian defense, trying to score, but they struggled to break through for a long time.

However, in injury time, the Lithuanians were awarded a corner kick, and after a pass from a teammate, Adrian Lickunas headed the ball into the net, securing the victory for Lithuania.
