This time, match delegate Ignas Marcinkevičius received a similar invitation. He was invited to officiate at the UEFA Europa Conference League final qualifying round second leg match. The match will feature "Dnipro-1" from Ukraine and Trnava's "Spartak" from Slovakia.
This will be the second meeting between these teams - the first leg match ended in a 1:1 draw last week. The team that triumphs in this pair will advance to the main stage of the Conference League, while the losing team will end their international season.
The match will start at 21:00 Lithuania time, with referees from Hungary officiating (main referee - Balazs Berke). Meanwhile, former renowned English referee Martin Atkinson will work as the match inspector.
It is worth noting that this is I. Marcinkevičius' second invitation to officiate in the Conference League qualifying rounds. He also officiated the second leg match in Norway, where on August 3rd the hosts "Rosenborg" met the "Crusaders" team from Northern Ireland.
