FIFA and the computer game giant "EA Sports" have agreed on the release of a global gaming platform, according to lrytas.lt.
The football management and computer game company have decided to offer football game "FIFA 18" enthusiasts the opportunity to compete against each other in a global tournament.
In 2018, the best players would meet in the first ever "eWorld Cup Grand Final" tournament, which would take place next year. The "EA Sports FIFA 18 Global Series" will serve as the qualification for the final tournament, which will be held in August.
It is said that the format will allow millions of game fans to compete in e-sports qualifiers. The qualifiers officially begin on November 3.
