"Liverpool" and "Milan" can exchange players

The portal Calciomercato.com reported that the clubs "Liverpool" and "Milan" are considering the possibility of making exchanges during the winter transfer window. Midfielder Lucas Leiva would travel to the "fashion capital", while Merseyside team would be supplemented by winger Jeremy Menez.

Brazilian's departure from Liverpool has been on the newspapers' radar all summer, but Lucas finally remained in Brendan Rodgers' coached team and has already played two matches in the "Premier" league this season. A goalless draw against London's "Arsenal" saw him starting from the first minutes.

Menez, who arrived at Milan last season, often had to play in an unusual position due to the lack of midfielders, but managed to become the leader of the "rossoneri" attacks. The Frenchman scored 16 goals in 33 matches in the "Serie A" championship. However, he is currently sidelined due to an injury suffered in August.

Despite his impressive performance in the 2014-15 season, Menez has often been criticized for selfishness. Additionally, strikers Luiz Adriano and Carlos Bacca have recently joined the team, making Menez's transfer to England seem unlikely.
