In the English Premier League, the 28th round started on Saturday, where a total of seven matches were played today.
The first match took place at the fortress of the 2016 English champions. "Leicester City" did not return to the path of victories - they played a draw with "Stoke City" with a score of 1-1.
The guests took the lead first, when Xherdan Shaqiri, feeling all the freedom in the center, scored a great goal from about 20 meters and defeated Kasper Schmeichel.
However, in the second half, the "Foxes" put even more pressure on their opponents and in the 70th minute they scored an equalizing goal, when Jack Butland failed to catch Marco Albrighton's strong pass from the corner.
Unable to win four consecutive matches, "Leicester" temporarily jumped to seventh place, while "Stoke" remains in the penultimate position.
In other matches, "Liverpool" hosted "West Ham". Jurgen Klopp's players had no difficulties - they beat their opponents 4-1.
The scorers for the winners were Emre Can, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane. Michael Antonio scored the consolation goal for the visitors in the 59th minute.
"Liverpool" climbed to second place after the victory.
The remaining matches ended with victories for "Brighton", "Watford", and "Huddersfield", as well as two draws.
