On Sunday evening, another four matches of the 11th round of the English Premier League were played. The Liverpool team achieved an easy victory at home, defeating the Wolves team 4-0. The English champions took the lead in the 24th minute, when Mohamed Salah took advantage of a mistake by Wolves captain Conor Coady to score the first goal of the match. Already in the added time of the first half, the referee awarded a penalty to Liverpool, but this decision was overturned after a VAR review. In the second half, Liverpool simply dominated, and Georginio Wijnaldum scored the second goal of the match with a fantastic strike in the 58th minute. Joel Matip extended the Wolves' suffering in the 67th minute, and Wolves defender Nelson Semedo redirected the ball into his own net in the 78th minute. After this victory, Liverpool once again caught up with the Tottenham players who are currently in first place in the tournament table.
