At 17 o'clock in the English Premier League, two more intriguing matches of the 23rd round were played.

Anfield stadium witnessed a highly anticipated match between Liverpool and Crystal Palace clubs. The Reds were close to dropping valuable points, but the skill of Mohamed Salah and other attackers led the hosts to a crucial 4:3 victory.

Liverpool started the match with their usual style of play, but in the 34th minute they were forced to take the ball out of their own goal for the first time. Andros Townsend scored after a brilliant pass from Wilfried Zaha in the 34th minute.

However, after the break, Liverpool came back stronger and in less than ten minutes managed to take the lead. In the 46th minute, Mohamed Salah equalized the score, and just seven minutes later Roberto Firmino put the hosts ahead.

Crystal Palace did not give up, and in the 65th minute the score was level again. The visitors did not enjoy the tied score for long - in the 75th minute M. Salah scored another goal.

James Milner was sent off the field in the 89th minute, but even that did not stop the Liverpool team from scoring their fourth goal. In added time, Sadio Mane found the net, but Crystal Palace responded with a third goal scored by Max Meyer.

Liverpool, currently in first place, now has a seven-point lead over Manchester City.

In the fifth consecutive win in the Premier League, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team, Manchester United, defeated Brighton with goals from Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
