On Wednesday, the fourth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage came to an end.
At home, the team of "Liverpool" secured a 2:0 victory against Madrid's "Atletico". Both goals were scored in the first half: Diogo Jota sent the ball into the net in the 13th minute, and Sadio Mane in the 21st. As if that wasn't enough, in the 36th minute, after a controversial decision by the referee, Atletico defender Felipe was sent off the field. In the second half, both teams managed to score a goal, but both were disallowed after VAR reviews. "Liverpool" has already secured the first place in Group B.
In other matches, Paris Saint-Germain's star-studded team remained without a victory, playing 2:2 away against RB Leipzig. The German club started the match very successfully, with Christopher Nkunku scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Just four minutes later, RB Leipzig could have been leading 2:0, but Andre Silva missed a penalty. PSG took the lead in the first half after two goals by Georginio Wijnaldum.
