"Liverpool" denies plans to sell stadium name

The English press reports that "Liverpool" fans will have to get used to the innovations.

It is said that the giants of the Premier League are planning to reconstruct the "Anfield" stadium and increase the number of seating places.

The renovation works will cost about 75 million pounds sterling and "Liverpool" is looking for ways to do everything at the lowest costs.

The press claimed that one option is to sell the current stadium name, built in 1884. However, club representative Billy Hoganas denied this information, stating that only the rights to the name of one stand will be sold.

Currently, matches at the "Anfield" arena can be watched by 45 thousand spectators - it is the seventh largest stadium in England. After the reconstruction, the number of seats will increase to 59 thousand.
