"Liverpool" does not intend to give Catalonians a 55 million euro discount

"Barcelona" team's plan to attract "Liverpool" forward Philippe Coutinho in January may fall apart.

"Mundo Deportivo" writes that the teams have once again failed to agree on the Brazilian's transfer fee.

While the Catalans hoped that the representatives of the Premier League would grant a 55 million euro discount in the winter, the "Reds" only scoffed at such expectations.

"Liverpool" continues to demand 200 million euros, while "Barcelona" is offering 145.

The La Liga team hopes that the player himself will come to their aid, starting to push the English not to create additional obstacles to wear the jersey of his dream club.

If the deal were to be confirmed, "Liverpool" has already identified a 25-year-old talent successor - the "Monaco" footballer Thomas Lemar would become him.
