"Liverpool" ends "Man Utd" winning streak in the Premier League (VIDEO)

At 18:00 Lithuanian time, the last match of the 21st round of the English Premier League took place.

At "Old Trafford" stadium, two well-known opponents - Manchester United and Liverpool - clashed. Jurgen Klopp's team conceded a late goal, but managed to stop the winning streak of the "Red Devils".

Throughout the match, there was a fierce battle on the field, but neither team had a clear advantage. In the first 20 minutes of the game, neither team managed to create a dangerous opportunity.

However, the visitors from Liverpool received a gift in the 26th minute - Paul Pogba handled the ball in the penalty area and a penalty was awarded, which James Milner successfully converted to give Liverpool the lead.

In the first half, P. Pogba could have received a harsher punishment from the referee for his unsportsmanlike behavior towards Jordan Henderson.

In the second half, Wayne Rooney appeared for "Man Utd", replacing the ineffective Michael Carrick. The hosts were much more aggressive in the next 45 minutes.

Manchester United tried to equalize, but Liverpool defended well and posed a threat on counterattacks.

In the 84th minute, Jose Mourinho's team managed to equalize - Marouane Fellaini hit the bar, the ball fell to Antonio Valencia's feet, and he lifted it to Zlatan Ibrahimovic who scored a precise header.

In the remaining minutes, Liverpool's players had a few dangerous opportunities. Georginio Wijnaldum had a good chance, but he lacked the strength to make a strong shot in the final moments of the game.

After the draw, Liverpool ended Manchester United's winning streak of three consecutive games in the Premier League. Liverpool sits in third place with 45 points, while Manchester United, with 40 points, is in seventh place.
