"The discovery of "Liverpool" Kevin Stewart barely after five seasons playing for the "Reds" was awarded a new contract.
The defensive midfielder, who returned from a loan at "Swindon Town" club in January, performed excellently in all five matches.
With the contract in force, Stewart will remain in the ranks of the Merseyside team at least until 2020. Furthermore, there is a possibility to extend the collaboration for another season.
Despite this news, team manager Jurgen Klopp revealed the sad news that Stewart suffered an injury during training.
Medical tests showed that Stewart injured his tendons and will be unable to play for four to five weeks."
