At 15:30 Lithuanian time, the eighth round of the English "Premier" league took place.
The set piece specialist "West Brom" welcomed "Liverpool" players to their field. Jurgen Klopp's players managed to break through the hosts' defense and secure a difficult victory with a score of 1-0.
In the first half, "Liverpool" looked much more threatening than their opponents, but they failed to create many dangerous opportunities. However, right at the end of the half, the "Reds" scored in the style of "West Brom."
After a set piece, Roberto Firmino broke away from the opponents and scored with a header, putting the visitors from Liverpool in the lead.

At the very end of the match, "West Brom" put pressure on "Liverpool's" goal, but the "Reds" defended their penalty area reliably and secured an important victory.
"Liverpool" remains in third place with 66 points, while "West Brom" is in eighth.
