On Sunday, the last three matches of the third round of the English Premier League were played.
The most anticipated match took place at White Hart Lane stadium, where local London Tottenham faced Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers' team had no difficulties and secured a victory with a score of 0-3.
In the first half, one goal was scored, when Raheem Sterling put the visitors ahead in the 8th minute. The Englishman scored after a great duo from Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge.
The next 45 minutes started off poorly for the Spurs players, who conceded the second goal in the 49th minute. Team captain Steven Gerrard converted a penalty kick.
The decisive point in this match was contributed by the young Alberto Moreno, and Liverpool secured another victory and is ranked fifth with 6 points.
In a later match, Leicester City and London Arsenal competed for 3 points. The Gunners failed to break through the league newcomers and played to a draw.
In the 20th minute, Alexis Sanchez put the visitors ahead, but just two minutes later Leonardo Ulloa equalized the score. Neither team managed to score a winner for the rest of the match.
These are the second consecutive draws experienced by Arsene Wenger's team. After three rounds, they have 5 points.
In other matches, Aston Villa defeated Hull City with a score of 2-1.
