The 20th round of the English "Premier" League started, where eight matches are played on Saturday.
At the "Boleyn" stadium, London's "West Ham" faced off against "Liverpool". Jurgen Klopp's men were unimpressive on the road and suffered a 2-0 defeat.
The hosts took the lead in the 10th minute when Michail Antonio scored after a precise pass from Enner Valencia, beating Simon Mignolet.
"Liverpool" once again dominated possession and had the advantage, but that didn't stop "West Ham" from putting the final nail in the coffin in the 55th minute. Andrew Carroll, after receiving a pass from Mark Noble, sent the ball into his former team's goal.
Both teams had plenty of attempts, but "Liverpool" managed to hit the target only twice out of 22 tries. "West Ham" climbed to fifth place after the victory, while "Liverpool" dropped to eighth place.
Today, seven more matches will be played.
