In the English Premier League, Liverpool lost at home to Crystal Palace with a score of 0:1.
It was a bitterly painful failure for the hosts in the fight for the highest title of the English league champions.
The only goal of the match was scored by Eberechi Eze in the 14th minute for the visitors.
In the second half, the "Reds" had several chances to equalize the score: both M. Salah, C. Jones, and D. Jota had fantastic opportunities to level the score, but were thwarted by the sacrificing defending of Crystal Palace and goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
After this painful defeat, Liverpool is currently in 3rd place in the table, trailing Manchester City by two points and level with Arsenal. However, the Gunners still have a game in hand.
