The management of the English football club will allocate 50 million dollars to buy new players during the off-season. According to the executive team director Rick Perry, Liverpool must significantly strengthen in order to compete with Manchester United and Chelsea.

Allocating such a sum is quite risky, as in the last two seasons Liverpool did not qualify for the Champions League, resulting in a loss of significant revenue. However, Perry said that this fact will not stop them. "We will do everything to climb back to the top. I know it will require a lot of effort and financial resources, but I am prepared for it," said the executive director.

Currently, Liverpool is in fourth position in the national championships, which allows them to participate in the Champions League next year. However, Tottenham, in fifth place, has the same number of points and one game in hand.
