“Liverpool” team tried to strengthen their defensive fortifications, but did not want to pay too high of a sum of money. “Calcio Mercato” wrote that the English champions tried to convince Milan's “Inter” club to part ways with Milan Škriniar, but the Italians remained inflexible in negotiations. Representatives of “Serie A” asked for 25-year-old Slovakian up to 54 million pounds, which led the “Reds” to break off negotiations. According to the media, the English are not planning to change their plans and will focus on other candidates in January.
