"Liverpool," remaining in first place, easily dealt with "Arsenal"

On Saturday evening, in the English Premier League, there was a lot of interest in the 3rd round match between London's Arsenal and Liverpool.

At the Anfield fortress, Liverpool, welcoming opponents from London, once again showed that the walls of their stadium are unbeatable for the Gunners - the Reds triumphed with a score of 3:1.

Both teams had been on a winning streak before this match, but Unai Emery's team eventually had to swallow a bitter pill.

In the 41st minute, Joel Matip turned a corner kick into a goal for Liverpool, and the Reds went into halftime with a minimal lead.

In the second half, Liverpool did not relax at all and scored two quick goals, both at the center of which was Mohamed Salah.

In the 49th minute, the Egyptian converted his own earned penalty, which David Luiz foolishly gave away in the penalty area.

In the 58th minute, again after a shaky performance by D. Luiz, M. Salah sprinted down the right side and finished his run with a goal. Liverpool gained more than a comfortable advantage.

In the 85th minute, Lucas Torreira managed to reduce the deficit, but it did not change the outcome for his team.

After three rounds, Liverpool firmly settled in the first position on the league table.
