In the UEFA Champions League Group A match on Wednesday, "Liverpool" defeated Amsterdam's "Ajax" with a score of 3:0.
Jurgen Klopp's team broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute. After a great pass from Jordan Henderson, Mohamed Salah sent the ball into the goal with his outer foot.
The visitors started the second half by scoring two quick goals. In the 49th minute, Darwin Nunez headed in a lifted corner kick to beat the opponents' goalkeeper, and three minutes later Harvey Elliot scored.
After the match, "Liverpool" secured their place in the Champions League knockout stages. They are currently in second place in the standings, three points behind "Napoli".
