Ryan Babel agreed to be sold to the club for approximately 7 million euros.
The 24-year-old footballer will soon travel to Germany, where he will negotiate personal contract terms.
Babel arrived in Liverpool in the summer of 2007 for 13 million euros from Ajax in Amsterdam, but he failed to meet expectations and rarely made it into the starting lineup.
He played 146 matches, of which only 67 started in the starting lineup, and scored 22 goals.
